No electricity, hand pump in Birhor primitive tribe village, Please call officers...
Raju Rana is visiting Amargaon village of Birhor primitive tribe in Joldiha panchayat of Hunterganj block of Chatra district in Jharkhand where around 30 of them live. They are living there from 2 years. They don’t have any electricity and no source of water. They have been requesting officers but no one has helped. Impact: Our handpump was broken for 15 days, got repaired 3 days after Swara report...
Suresh Kumar, A Baiga adivasi from Sarsoha village in Mahamahi Gram Panchayat of Lormi block in Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh is calling to say thanks. He says 15 back their hand pump got broken and the repair people were not listening to their requests. Then they recorded a message on CGnet Swara and 3 days after that their hand pump got repaired and they don’t have any problem now. Adivasis drink dirty water, Headman use borewell to irrigate farm & brick kiln...
60-70 adivasis live in Nehun Tigadda of Sahjatpura village in Batiagarh block of Damoh district in Madhya Pradesh. There is only one hand pump which is broken and is throwing coloured water but they have no option but to use that water. But in nearby Nimkheda Tigadda the local influential Sarpanch is using the Govt bore well to run his brick kiln and farm. Complaint to CM helpline also did not help.
