Gyan Singh Uike from village Junapani in Khalwa block of Khandwa district Madhya Pradesh is telling that many NREGA work started in his village in last few years for road, well and anganwadi construction but none of them got completed. They tried to find by RTI. Later it was in press that officials were found to have committed fraud with NREGA money but none of the officials have got punished yet. My name is Bir Singh Padda. I am calling from Kadati village in Bhanupratappur block of Kanker district in Chhattisgarh. We worked in road construction under NREGA 9 months ago but we are yet to get our wages though as per law we should get it in 15 days. Dilip Singh Parte from Raipur in Chhattisgarh says Mahish Asur who is shown killed in statues of Goddess Durga while celebrating Dashahra festival of Hindus was a representative of Asur Adivasi community and celebrating murder of an adivasi in the name of religion is in bad taste and should be protested.
