Shivanand Dwivedi is visiting Harijan basti ( Dalit colony) in Kaitha village in Mangawan tehsil of Gangeo block in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh and finds there is only one hand pump for 250-300 people there. The water level of the hand pump has gone very down. If this stops functioning then people have no alternative. Often there is a long queue of people who comes for fetching water.
