Son Singh Dhurve from Kawardha in Chhattisgarh is telling us about Baiga adivasis who are living on a particular forest land from 1960. Many Baigas have gone to jail and are attending court from more than 10 years in their fight to keep that land. They have applied under Forest Rights Act but nothing has happened. Rule of no exam till class 8 must change, Its doing great harm to education
Satte Singh Warkade from Mandla district in MP is telling us in Gondi that Govt has made a rule that there will be no exams till class 8. Govt has done it to help students but it is doing great harm. Due to this rule no one takes education seriously and no adivasi and poor children will ever be able to take higher education. Govt tought Baiga adivasis in English medium till class 5, Nowhere to go next!
Darbu Singh Uike from Balaghat in MP tells a curious case where Govt began English medium school for tribal children upto 5th standard. After the students pass the 5th class, they have to continue schooling in Hindi medium as there are no government English medium school. MP Govt claims of electricity for 24 hr but villagers near capital not getting it
