50 lakhs spent to make a park but has no facility of water!
Vipin Mishra from Raigarh says last year Collector of the district inaugurated a park in forest land which had a budget of Rs 50 lakhs. 9 months after inauguration most of the trees in the park are in bad shape. The park should have had trees of 16 types but it has only 3 and the park has no arrangement for water. The park is mostly used by rowdy elements for their liquor party,. District administration have been informed about this misuse of govt money but they are yet to take any action.

Need to conserver water to save wildlife and stop desertification
Mansoor Khan from Bilaspur is talking about the need of wildlife conservation. He says water is the most important link for it. We need to save water. If we allow the rain water to flow to sea and continue to take out ground water at such a speed then we are inviting deserts. We need to stop cutting of trees. If you want to save tiger then you will also have to save sambar, its pray, he says, who is dependent on trees and entire nature and environment

Villagers solve water problem with their own initiative
Bhan Sahu reports from village Angar in Mohla block of Rajnandgaon where all the 3 hand pumps were not working. Then on advise of a women social worker they collected money and installed their own water pump. In another village water has iron content and people have taken help from an NGO to get filters to purify their drinking water. People in these villages did not get any help from government agencies after repeated requests
