Water is the biggest problem, say villagers in MP

Many village problems have come out in these meetings but all the villages have earmarked the problem of water as the biggest problem. Companies have destroyed our water and air, says villager

Mangal Kunjam is interviewing a girl Mamta Markam in a village next to NMDC and Essar operations in Dantewada. Mamta says in the interview that companies have polluted our water and air and does not provide any support. Kirandul municipality also does not help. Report about water scarcity in adivasi villages in Rajasthan

Abu Taleb Khan and Aneesh Ahmed are working in Srishti Sewa Samiti in Dungarpur. They are visiting some adivasi villages in this district in South Rajasthan and are reporting from a village. They say people here are mainly suffering from lack of water facility. Village has 7 handpumps and 3 are not working. Women are facing huge problem due to this. Village has military firing range but no drinking water...

Anil from Hoshangabad in Madhya Pradesh says in his village all the bore wells are not working and people are facing acute drinking water problem. People have told complained to authorities many times but they have not worked. He says our village has a military proof range where firing practice goes on for the whole day which causes big problem to the people but even that has not guaranteed water supply to villagers.
