Jeetanram Pahadi Korwa is calling from village Salkheta, post Kumarta in Dharmajaigarh block of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. He says 35 Pahadi Korwa adivasis had filled up forms for Forest Rights Act in 2008 but so far only 16 of us have got the land deeds. Earlier this month we recorded a message on CGnet and since then we are flooded with phone calls from officers and they are saying before Dussehra all of us will get land deeds and they are suggesting other Pahadi Korwas should also fill application. Champu Manjhi is reporting from Cuttack in Odisha that in Kathajodi railway station today a goods train was standing while a passenger train coming from Bhubaneswar hit the goods train. Three bogies of the passenger train and damaged and two women were killed. rescue work is going on. Collector Cuttack is on the spot. There are chances of increasing in the number of casualties.
