More than 6 crore people had invested in the company from 1983 from all over the country and are waiting for their investment to be returned. Govt did not take any action on the company beforehand and now not helping small investors who are in bad shape. Hiramani from West Singhbhum in Jharkhand describes the effects of mining dust, how different types of mines colour the landscape and effect all nature in the area.The effects of environmental pollution and poisoning as she calls it, affects the women most of all as their lives revolve around nature whether it be to get water for drinking, wood for cooking food, or building homes, whether the women are young, old or even pregnant.
