We walk 4 kms to get water, Need to go 10 kms to charge mobiles, Pls help
Charan Singh Parte from village Naigawan Raiyat in Mawai block, Bichhia tahsil in Mandla district of MP says they have electric poles in their Baiga adivasi village but no electricity. They need to go 10 kms to charge their mobile phones which costs Rs 10 each time. They need to walk 4 kms to river to fetch water. There is no Govt work going in the village. High School 35 kms away so we cant send our daughters to school, Pls help
Lachchhu Singh Kajle is Sarpanch of Jiriado Gram panchayat in Chicholi block of Betul district in Madhya Pradesh. Company say give your land otherwise Govt will get it from you for us anyway...

No irrigation, Adivasi farmers forced to migrate in search of work to big cities
Madan Singh Marawi, a Gondi speaking farmer from Jhiria village in Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh says in their area there is no irrigation facility so adivasi farmers are forced to migrate to big cities in search of work. There is a river in the area and if Govt makes a dam that will help all the adivasi farmers. Impact: Officials promise to start road construction work after Swara report...
Brijesh Singh from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh says I had recorded interview of some Adivasis from Jiwni village in Juda Gram Panchayat who had told that they are requesting for road from few generations now but no one has helped them. I am very glad to share today that officials have promised to start the road work after the model code of conduct is over after election results.
