Sammat Singh Marawi is calling from Paldai village in Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh saying that their water pump is broken from last 15 days. Villagers from 15 villages are dependent on the pump. Some are walking 5-6 kms to fetch drinking water. Complaints to officials are not working. There are some hand pumps but they give water with fluoride so people are unable to use them. Charan Singh Parte is calling from village Naugawan in Mawai block of Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh. He says a month back he had reported in Swara that in his adivasi village there is no source of drinking water and people need to go to nearby river few kilometers away.
