90% poor people are left out in new BPL survey in my village
Aparna Marandi from Giridih district of Jharkhand is demanding that Below Poverty Line survey be done again as more than 90% people are left in the new survey and the poorest of the poor are now not part of BPL. She says in her village where there is no school and no other government facility only 4 out of 117 families have been listed in the new list and rest of the families are not getting benefit of govt schemes meant for BPL families like Indira Awas and Old age pension.
