Basaguda killings: Adivasi Mahasabha rally in Bijapur demands CBI enquiry

Yashwant Ramteke from Bijapur in Chhattisgarh is talking to a person attending a rally today demanding CBI enquiry into the killings in villages near Basaguda. Mid day meal: Children forced to eat rice and salt from a month

Hemant Kashyap from Dantewada in Chhattisarh says there is a village called Pondum just 15 kms away from district headquarter where 55 children are getting only rice and salt in their mid day meal since the new education session has started from 16th June. Being so near to Dantewada town newspapers have also written about it and government has taken some action against two of its employees but till today the children are forced to eat same rice and salt and situation for them has not changed.
