Upendra Kushwaha is talking to two villagers from Kerketta village in Utari road block of Palamu district in Jharkhand who complains to him that subsidized grain distribution is not regular under Govt’s Public Distribution System in their village and there are various kinds of irregularities. He says it is a similar story to nearby blocks where lots of black marketing of subsidized grain was unearthed after a recent enquiry. 60-70 adivasis live in Nehun Tigadda of Sahjatpura village in Batiagarh block of Damoh district in Madhya Pradesh. There is only one hand pump which is broken and is throwing coloured water but they have no option but to use that water. But in nearby Nimkheda Tigadda the local influential Sarpanch is using the Govt bore well to run his brick kiln and farm. Complaint to CM helpline also did not help.
