They tell her they want to celebrate May Day because it talks about their rights and also condemns use of child labor. Vikuram Rai from Kathikund block in Dumka district in Jharkhand says in Lakdapali middle school in the area there are around 200 students till class 8 but has only 2 teachers. Earlier it had 4 but when some got transferred that post was never filled.
