This Citizen Journalism awareness tour was started on 15th May and will cover 5 states till 15th June. Mohan is talking to Lalsu Nagoti of Bhamragarh in Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra. He asks him about traditions of Madia Gond adivasis who live there in Dandakaranya forest region. As an example he tells about their hunting tradition. He says men, women and children equally take part in hunting and if they get a pray and if any of the hunter is pregnant then she will get double share as she is carrying another person in her womb. He says it is summer time and also time for mango but local adivasis do not eat mango till they perform a special worship and get the mango tree married.
