My village is just 45 kms away from district headquarter but we do not have school or health center. Santlal Prajapati from Satna district of Madhya Pradesh is telling us that adivasis and lower caste people are discriminated in his village in every field but law does not help them. The upper caste people have got a pukka raod in their part and use the kutcha road going towards adivasi area as dustbin. They start violence if objected. Upper caste people have ration cards but not the adivasis. Lower caste and adivasi people need to wait till upper caste people finish filling their water. My name is Santoshi Kansare. I am a handicapped girl and entitled to govt support but the officials harassed me a lot in last few years. I have fought back and is now getting back my rights slowly. I am educated and have resources to fight so I have done that but there are many handicapped brothers and sisters who are not equipped and accept their fate. I request the authorities to punish the people who harassed me and continue to do so and do the same with officials who harass other handicapped people stopping them from getting govt facilities. Hemant Kashyap from Dantewada in Chhattisarh says there is a village called Pondum just 15 kms away from district headquarter where 55 children are getting only rice and salt in their mid day meal since the new education session has started from 16th June. Being so near to Dantewada town newspapers have also written about it and government has taken some action against two of its employees but till today the children are forced to eat same rice and salt and situation for them has not changed.
