My name is Ishwar Soren. I am calling from village Chhota Simra in Godda district in Jharkhand. In my area Lalmatia open cast mine is operational of Eastern Coal field ltd under their Rajmahal project. According to RTI reply the lease of land got expired in 2003 and new application was not proper. The villagers were given compensation for 15 years which expired long back. Shivendra from Anuppur district in Madhya Pradesh is talking to a laborer who alleges that Moser Baer company is constructing a dam next to Son river there but they got coal after digging few feets. But the company has hidden that fact and has put a concrete wall over the coal block. All the laborers employed for the work have been instructed to not share this fact.
