Ramashankar Prajapati is calling from Chhipiya village of Jaba block, Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh and says a message was recorded by Jagdish on 9th September saying that Tehsildar has issued notice to 200 people to vacate their houses or otherwise for demolition. Rabi Ji is visiting Baripada in Mayurbhanj dist, Odisha and talking to Dr. Rajkishor Nayak who is a scholar on Bathudi tribe, one among 62 tribes in Odisha. He says traditional worship system is still alive in villages here and they dance at the time of Nuakhai and Dali puja(worshiping the branches of various trees) using changu( instrument made out of wood cover with goat skin) but more needs to be done to protect this culture.
