This Satyagraha started in 2012 and is happening every year since. Supreme Court has given rights to land owners over mineral beneath their land and the people assembled during the Satyagraha will also discuss about it. People allege that hundreds of trucks are crossing their rural road who are transporting coal for Jindal power plant. It has destroyed the road and water, crops and whole area is filled with dust. JM Rangeela is calling from Coal handling plant of Govt’s Central Coalfields Ltd in Fusronagar in Bermo block of Bokaro district in Jharkhand. 140 Contract labourers are working there from 1995 and have not been made permanent yet. And now have not got any wages from last 5 months. They have stopped working in protest but it is not making an impact. They see this as part of conspiracy to close the plant.
