1 hand pump for 22 adivasi families, we need one more, please call officers...
We have only one hand pump for 22 Madia Adivasi families which is throwing dirty water. Whenever hand pump is broken we fetch water from river which dries in summer. Officers are not paying attention. We want one more hand pump for our village say villagers of Darbhatola village under Dodraj panchayat in Bhamragarh tehsil of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra in their Gondi language to Mohan Kumra. ग्राम-पंडेवाही, तहसील-एटापल्ली, जिला-गढ़चिरोली, महाराष्ट्र से रवि नरोटे उनकी स्थानीय भाषा गोंडी में एक गीत गा रहे हैं. गीत पोला ( यह एक उत्सव है जिसमें बैल को सजाकर उसका पूजन किया जाता है) के समय मच्छरों को भगाते हुए गाया जाता है:

We've anganwadi but teachers are irregular, children don't get nutritiuos food...
80 children from 150 houses are enrolled in village Anganwadi centre but they don’t get nutritious food there. Teacher and nurse don’t come regularly so children are suffering. Village don't have caste certificate, so can't fight elections, can't study further...
Our village is surrounded by forest and 70 Maria Gond Adivasi families live here but we don’t have valid caste certificate yet so we can’t contest elections. Our children can not be admitted in colleges, we don’t have Sarpanch in our village. An administrator has been appointed by Govt though our village is there from 1947 say villagers of Vegdur village and panchayat in Mulchera tehsil of Gadchiroli district in Maharshtra in Gondi to Ankit. ग्राम-पिनकसा, पंचायत -कुरेनार, तहसील-पखांजूर, जिला-उत्तर बस्तर कांकेर, छत्तीसगढ़ से रानो वड्डे गाँव की बहनों से गोंडी गीत रिकॉर्ड करवा रही हैं. आदिवासी समाज में यह गीत तिलक लगाते समय गाया जाता है:
