फागुन-चैत में पानी बरसे, और आषाढ़ की नाईं-
अरहर-चना -मसूर-मटर की अंतिम अरसी-राई-
सबका हुआ विनाश देख लो, धरती में लिपटाई-
मूड पकड़ के खेतिहर रोवें, नहीं होत सुनवाई-
फागुन खेत लबालब हो गए, धान का रोपा जईसन-
अन्न के ऊपर पानी भर जाए, जीयब अन्न बिन कईसन-
अन्न की कौनो गिनती नहीं या, भूसा हरि गा भईसन-
व्यापारी सब ख़ुशी मनाव ! देश क हालत अईसन-
बद्री कलम यही दर्शावे, फसल के रे नुकसानी-
दोष नहीं है किसी का भईया, ऊपर से बरसा पानी-
सन 13 का उतापात भाई हमका, कभउँ न बिसरी-
आने वाली पीढ़ी सबका, लिख देवन खुशखबरी
