Village has military firing range but no drinking water...
Anil from Hoshangabad in Madhya Pradesh says in his village all the bore wells are not working and people are facing acute drinking water problem. People have told complained to authorities many times but they have not worked. He says our village has a military proof range where firing practice goes on for the whole day which causes big problem to the people but even that has not guaranteed water supply to villagers. Death from snake bite can be avoided if taken to hospital
Anil Bamne from Bilaspur today is talking about Snake bites. He says I see so many people dying of snake bite in rural areas because they waste so much time before reaching hospital. He says you should keep the part of body stable where snake has bitten as much as you can. Tie it with a stick and don’t tie it so hard that blood circulation stops. Anganvadi in rehabilitated village receives no food for 5 months
Anil Bamne from Bilaspur says he recently went to see some rehabilitated villages from Achanakmar tiger reserve. When he reached the Anganvadi center the assistant told him that they have not received any ration from last 5 months and have got only few ks of puffed rice which they distribute amongst children. He says these people were displaced from their villages inside the tiger reserve promising all support but authorities are giving lame excuses for not helping them. Govt should provide nutritious food to chronic patients
Anil Bamne from Bilaspur says the problem of malnutrition is growing in the country and government efforts to counter it in rural areas is not working. But he says it is more important for people suffering from chronic deseases. He says he would request government to run a scheme to provide free nutritious food to people suffering from chronic diseases
