Govt broke our houses, Now they den of anti social elements

Manoj Yadav from Raipur says Govt broke our houses calling them illegal. But after demolition the whole area is lying in the same way and have become home to anti social elements who have made it a place for drinking and gambling. They are harassing by passing women. Seeking help from police and administration- homeless living on the road.

Last December the corporation demolished some homes and shops to widen the road in Daganiya Raipur. About 60 families were affected. To date these people are living on the road. As no arrangements were made for them, they are forced to carry out their daily ablutions on the road. In the broken down homes and shops, anti social elements have begun their activities, causing disruption of social life of the residents.

Contractor system shd end, workers shd be made permanent

He says in the areas near him the contract laborers are badly treated by the officers and also the contractors and they have no job security. Child labor still continues in Rajasthan stone mines

Though Govt has made a law that every child should go to school but not only many children are doing hard work in the mines but they are also becoming victim of bad intoxicating habits. Companies should return the land to as it was after mining...

Manoj Kumar from Kota in Rajasthan says there are lots of stone quarries in my area and there are many groups which raise the issue of mining. But there is no one to raise the issue of post mining. Once the mining is over they leave the area as it is and the area remains unuseful for agriculture.
