Today Mohan Yadav has reached village Mendhakheda, a forest village in Betul district in MP where he meets Jugan Pandram, a Gondi speaking farmers who tells him that they have 70 families in the village, 65 are adivasis. Their hand pump is broken and they are forced to drink dirty water from stream and are falling ill. They hardly ever get electricity but bill is regular. Mohan Yadav is visiting Sivni-Malwa area in Hoshangabad district in MP and meets an adivasi social activist Sangeeta who tells him in her Gondi language that the situation of women and children is very bad in the area who are all malnourished. The road condition is very bad and there has been many accidents with pregnant women. In many villages roads are non existent. She says Govt should look at these two issues of road and malnutrition. He asks Uike Ji that adivasis of state will elect 47 adivasis as MLAs then why is their situation so bad?
