National Mineral Development Co not treating non-permanent workers well
Ashish Yadav Secretary Bailadila Mine workers union in Dantewada Chhattisgarh says National Mineral Development corporation is cheating its non-permanent workers. They are around 500 of them and are mostly local adivasis. They get no details of their Provident Fund. Some get work for few weeks and then get retrenched. 60 Pando adivasi families don't have handpump, drink dirty water, falling ill...
Mohan Yadav is visiting Dharampuri village in Sajapali panchayat in Dharamjaigarh tahsil of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh where he talks to Pando adivasi women who tell him that they have 60 families in the village but dont have any hand pump. They drink dirty water from an open well, digging ditches and are falling ill. There is a river next to village which is flooded in rains and they can not cross. They also want a bridge and road. Pando Adivasis in Chhattisgarh not getting bamboo to continue their work...
Mohan Yadav is visiting Dharampur village in Dharamjaigarh tahsil of Raigarh district where he meets a Pando adivasi Bandhan Singh who tells him that earlier they used to work with bamboo mainly for their livelihood but now it is becoming very difficult to get bamboo and they need to buy it from far. We dont have hand pump, We fetch dirty water from a km says Oraon tribals

Dadra harvesting song by Pando adivasi women from Raigarh Chhattisgarh
Mohan Yadav Ji has reached Dharampur village in Dharamjaigarh block of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh where he is sitting with adivasi women from primitive Pando community who sings two Dadra song in their language.
