Ruplal Maravi has reached Mahuaripara under Dandkava village and panchayat in Pratappur of Surajpur district in Chhattisgarh and talking to Dharampal who tells him that elephant demolished two of their homes and ate food. They are living under the tree. Sarpanch gave him 10 kg rice but it is not enough. Forest dept and local administration hasn’t helped yet. They want compensation and help for remaking their houses.
