Pradeep is visiting Jobat village in Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh where he meets farmers who have occupied Govt land from 3 years since Govt submerged 13 villages in Jobat dam on Hathini river without giving them 5 acres of land each as legal compensation. Pradeep from Alirajpur is drawing our attention towards two biggest problem of the district, migration in search of work and fluoride in water. He says lives of many children have got destroyed because parents have migrated to other states in search of work and children are left behind. Pradeep from Alirajpur district in MP is telling us that adivasis here have learned lesson from rehabilitation of Sardar Sarovar and Kanha national park. Govt planned to relocate 13 villages for Kachchiwada sanctuary but after seeing the situation in Kanha and Sardar Sarovar people refused to take compensation of Rs 10 lakhs to each family. Af. Pradeep from Alirajpur district in MP says he is very proud to say that many Adivasi farmers in this area do not use chemical fertilizer and depend on organic manure for food production. He says though Jhabua and Alirajpur is known as liquor districts but in reality the adivasis drink mahua and tadi from trees and all the liquor from here gets illegally exported to state of Gujrat, giving crores to businessmen and bringing bad name to district.Pradeep@8085902811

Pradeep from Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh is telling that 8 adivasi migrant workers from the district have died in an accident when they were migrating to Gujarat in search of work. 15 are injured and are getting treatment in a hospital in Baroda. Govt has also given them some support but more important question is why adivasis need to migrate and why they are not getting job at their home. This needs to be asked.
