Amitabh Patra is calling from Bargarh in Odisha to tell about people displaced by Hirakud dam which was built in 1957. Displaced people are living in 8 forest villages near the dam since then and do not have any basic facilities like road, water and electricity. Though Govt has ordered to convert all non-revenue villages to revenue in 2013 but still Forest dept is not allowing to make a road and get people Forest Rights Act facilities. Giridhari Patro is calling from Bhavanipatna town in Kalahandi district of Odisha where district administration is removing shops on road side by force to widen the road without proper rehabilitation.
