Farmers in Rewa MP have cultivated onion and the production cost is around Rs 10 per kilogram but the market rate is around Rs 3-4 now. Govt has not fixed any Minimum support price and some businessmen are trying to buy it in even Rs 2. The farmers are very sad and don’t know how to recover their input costs.
