A caller from Basantpur village in Pendra block of Bilaspur district in Chhattisgarh says the situation of their primary school building is very bad and it can fall down any day. He says the two teachers in the school are very sincere and they have also complained to the authorities but there is no action. The children suffer a lot in the rainy season. Bhan Sahu is telling us about a high school in an adivasi village in Rajnandgaon district in Chhattisgarh which was opened 6 months back and have 34 students but no teacher has been appointed yet. The officers say that no teacher wants to go to school because it is 4 kms off the road. All the teachers want posting on the road.
