4 teachers teach 5 classes in 1 room in my village school!
Ajiteshwar Pathak from Bodha village in Surguja district in Chhattisgarh says that there is a primary school in my village for girls. Under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan work for school buiding started in 2006 but it is yet to be completed. The school at the moment has 5 classes and 4 teachers but just one class room, so 4 teachers teach 5 classes in one room. The story of the boys school is also same which is running in a rented accomodation as the construction work is hugely delayed. He requests authorities to act to hel the suffering children. No teacher has come to this school in last one year...
Atish Kumar Barik says for the last one year there is no teacher in this school in Pahadgaon Panchayat, Pali Block of Korba district in Chhattisgarh. Inspite of repeated follow up no teacher has been posted after the last teacher was transferred to a new school. Now the exam time have come and more than 60 students of this school are suffering. It is 9 am here and no teacher has turned up in the school...
Bindeshwari Painkra from Sitapur in Chhattisgarh says he is visiting a Korwa village and there is a special Govt school in here which has 3 teachers but it is 9 am now and none of the teachers have turned up for the morning school. He talks to students and parents and they tell him that teachers are always late. He requests all of us to raise the issue with authorities so that this behavior on the part of teachers stop. Dantewada: Many school, anganwadis working only on paper
Kopa Kunjam from Dantewada says that in Bhairamgarh block, of the district all the schools and anganwadis on the villages on the other side of the river are only working on paper. The children are suffering from Malnutrition in the absence of anganwadis. Ths situation is similar in Usur and Bhopalpatnam block too.The concerned officers are requested to look into the matter and instruct for reopening of schools. Live Republic Day songs from a school in an adivasi village
Jagdish Ji has sent songs from an adivasi village in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. He says this school gets no support from the Govt and is also not recognised by it. The school has 58 adivasi children. All the Som adivasi families have donated one kg of food for a Republic day celebrqtion and you can hear the song women are singing which they have created for the occassion.
