Tribals walk for days to reach but officers are rarely present
Kailash Sahu from Lanjigarh in Kalahandi district of Odisha says this is an adivasi block and officers are rarely found in the offices here. There is not much communication facility in the area. So Adivasis walk for 40-50 kms which takes them one or two days to reach the block headquarters but officers are rarely available. Officers say they do not have enough residential quarters. The complaints to higher officials does not make any difference. For more Mr Sahu can be reached at 09937634367
