At that time the life of dalits was very tough and there was no facility of education for dalit women. She is the first woman teacher of India. She also helped during natural calamities. Dilip Behra from village Soda Post Temri thana Paikmal District Bargarh in Odisha says in their village High school computer room was not completed in 2 years so the computer meant for the school had gone back. Mohan Yadav is visiting adivasi village Jhiri in Raselpur panchayat of Harda district of Madhya Pradesh. Many adivasis from nearby villages have assembled here and they tell him that it is 15 years since new district was made but till date they do not have any hostel for adivasi girls in district town.
