Mamta devi Adivasi is calling from Dhurkush village of Rewa district, MP to say that all 3 hand pumps in her village were broken for more than a year. They were drinking dirty water and was falling sick. She had reported from hospital where my grandson was admitted. 3 days after reporting on Swara hand pumps have got repaired. Pradeep is calling from village Gajgota of Kukshi tehsil of Dhar dist MP says 3 years ago in this village under Kapildhara project 1.2 lacks were sanctioned to adivasi farmers for digging wells. They were given Rs 6500 as first installment but even after completion of work adivasi farmers are not getting remaining money yet. Pradeep is visiting Borjad panchayat in Udaygarh block of Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh and talking to adivasi farmers who do not use any chemical fertilizers and use cow dung and earthworms. They tell him the food tastes better if grown organically. Pradeep is visiting Kurdipura village in Kukshi tahsil of Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh and meets adivasi women from Dongliapani panchayat who tell him that there village is 10 kms away and their subsidized ration is also given in Kurdipara. They need to walk 10 kms many times to get their ration which is irregular and also not in full quantity. They demand a ration shop is their village which will save a lot of time for them.
