Ashok Sarathe traveling with CGNet Swara Citizen Journalism Awareness Yatra has reached Nalkuguda village under Kotapally panchayat in Narnur tehsil of Adilabad district in Telangana where villagers tell him that there is no handpumps for 60 Adivasi families and they fetch water from nullah 2-3 kms away on bullock carts. New adivasi weekly market running from 7 months but there's no handpump..
Naresh Bunkar is visiting Polmi village in Pandariya block of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh where villagers tell him that weekly market is running from 7 months but there is no hand pump. They fetch water from more than one km away. They have complained to officials but no action has been taken. Impact: 4 hanpumps installed after Swara report, need 1 in village school too...
Pradeep is calling from village Dudhvi, panchayat-Karajwani, block-Sondwa of district Alirajpur in MP and says villagers had recorded message on Swara that they don’t have handpump in village school where 112 adivasi children study and many don’t come to school because of this.
