Situation of education in Rajnandgaon

Bhan Sahu reports from Rajnandgaon area of Chhattisgarh where in one school after 2 months of start of session teachers have not been appointed for various subjects. In one place teachers are spending most of time drinking in a hotel in front of the school and in one places a new school has been constructed but not enough teachers have been appointed. Bargi dam displaced are living a miserable life

Continuing her dispatches on the occasion of Independence day Bhan Sahu send a report about displaced people of Bargi dam in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The displaced adivasis are living a miserable life without water, electricity and enough food where as government is making lots of money by selling electricity and water. She says we have got independence from British but it will not be a real independence till our adivasis, women and children are free of malnourishment.

Are women independent in India today?

She goes to villages to talk to people about how to fight social injustice but when she returns her own home she needs to be under ghunghat. She needs to do all her work under veil. Thoughsts on Independence Day : Situation of Dalits

Khemraj Choudhary from Rajasthan has sent a report about situation of Dalits who are not allowed to enter temples and not allowed to celebrate as they want. Situation of Adivasis in South Rajasthan

Suman from Prayas in South Rajasthan is reporting that Adivasis in that area are not allowed to walk with their shoes on in front of houses of upper caste. They are not allowed to sit on chair in front of them. Bonded labor system is still on and people working with Adivasis are also attacked by upper caste people for working amongst the adivasis
