Shivram Sonwanifrom Sitapur block of Chhattisgarh says that around 200 workers have decided to go for direct action from 29th June if there NREGA wages are not paid before. These workers are waiting for their payment from 2009-10. In a meeting today they have decided to lock the block office and start a hunder fast from that day. He interviews two laborers there who are getting ready to migrate out of village in search of work. One of them had worked 9 weeks and another 7 weeks in NREGA last year but they have not been paid yet.
