Report from seed festival in adivasi Maharashtra village before sowing starts...

Lalsu Nogoti is visiting Hemalksa village of Bhamragarh Taluka, Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra where villagers have gathered to celebrate Bija Pandum (seed festival) and says Pandum is celebrated before sowing. Guests from nearby villages also participate in it. Same way Naya Pandum, Birri Pandum are also celebrated at the time of harvesting. Wine is prepared with fresh forest produce which is devoted to gods and distributed among all. Lalsu@9405130530
