Dont sign on FIR without reading, Someone reading for you, Also get a copy

Ramji Rai from Bundelkhand Buniyadi Adhikar Manch is telling about FIR today. He says First Information Report should be written clearly because police will take future action based on it. One must read or listen with help from someone if illiterate before signing/giving thumb impression on it. You should keep a copy of FIR. That is your right. If police does not file FIR you can send it by post also to higher authorities like collector and Magistrate. Ramji is at 09425793158
