Independence still like a dream, It's not real for us: Kui speaking Adivasi...

Banmali Majhi from Rayagada in Odisha is telling us in Kui language that even after 67 years of Independence their adivasi villages suffer with no roads, no doctors and no safe drinking water. On the other hand Govt is doing all shorts of development work in towns. How can we celebrate the Independence in this situation? Independence, right to live and livelihood is still a dream for we adivasi people, he says. We appeal the listeners to re-think about the Independence in our nation.
