An adivasi village which worships wood rather then burning it on Holi day...

Darbu Singh Uike from Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh is telling us about a village which instead of burning worhips the wood on Holi day. He says in village Narwari Tola on the Holi day villagers worship the tree of Semal with lots of fun fair. They worship nature in the form of Semal and give a message that if nature is alive then we will as well. It is also the start of Gondi new year according their age old tradition. They also take oath to save nature that day. For more Uike Ji can be reached at 09406751188
