Officials threaten RTI activist for exposing corruption, No police action

Mahammad Ashlam from Kalahandi district of Odisha is talking to Right to Information activist Dhoba Sahu who exposed corruption in Old age pension and other rural development schemes in his village. Administration followed up and found the allegation to be correct but no action has been taken up against the culprits. The officials have now beaten up Dhoba Sahu and have threatened him if he went to press about it. An FIR has been filed a week back but police has taken no action yet.
