Foreign companies not obeying Indian laws then how are we free?

Bhagirath Verma laborer from Raipur in Chhattisgarh is visiting Maruti Suzuki factory in Manesar Haryana where laborers are celebrating establishment day of their trade union. When he asks the leader if India is a free country he replies in negation and says when foreign countries are flouting Indian labor laws then how can we say we are free. He gives example of another foreign owned company from nearby who has fired workers when they demanded minimum wages. Workers are sitting on strike but authorities are not helping.
