Officials reach Korwa village to investigate "hunger death"

Bindeshwari Painkra had sent an interview with a Korwa tribal Hingaram from Lotapani village in Surguja district of Chhattisgarh who had lost his mother “due to hunger”. Police, Tahsildar and Congress workers has visited him today but Hungaram tells Bindeshwari that before they arrived his Sarpanch tried to frighten him by saying that if he continues with his statement all the Korwas will go to jail.
