Stone cutters of Dhaulpur, Rajasthan seek help

About 500 families of stone cutters are trying to make a living out of their art of stone cutting. But they are able to make only 50-100 rupees a day. This is barely enough for food, what to speak of education for children. There is no health care available either. They are exploited by contractors. The labour shortens their lives- men rarely live beyond 50 years, and the community is one with many widowed women.
Although many promises have been made to them by the government, and some cards were issued, no help has materialized.
Munawwar Khan looks for help. He can be contacted at 9529207426
