Thousands of Mahua trees destroyed for power plant

Jagdish from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh says that 2 power plants have purchased lots of land in his area. People submitted an application to authorites to save about a 1000 Mahua trees and identify the herbs which would be destroyed. Though the collector set up a team, now only the stumps can be seen. There are two other power plants coming up right next to forest land and Jagdeesh wants to save the Mahua plants in the area which are now in danger.
