Tribals demand opening of weekly market, admin unmoved

Mangal Kunjam from Dantewada in Chhattisgarh says adivasis in the area are demanding opening of a weekly market from 5 years but authorites are not listening. Due to closure of this market the tribal need to walk 40/50 kms to reach weekly haat and a trip to market takes 4 days. They are also frightened to go to Kirandul market where police most of the time harass them. Apart from market administration should also be providing basic facilities in these villages.
