Follow up: Officer says health workers will be paid soon

Samantha Agarwal from Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, says that she had heard a message on August 29th from Bhan Sahu who had reported that Mitanin health workers in Rajnandgaon had not been paid their honorarium from 5 months. Samantha says, “Today I contacted the Chief Medical Officer in Rajnandgaon who said that the Mitanin trainers had not been paid since April due to insufficient funds. But they will be paid in next 2/3 days.” Samantha further requests Bhan Sahu and other health workers to check with the CMO Dr Choudhary if the trainers are still not paid.
