RTI forces district administration to change a Committee...

KM bhai from Kanpur is telling us about his experience of how an RTI application helped change the District Children Welfare Committee in Kanpur. The past committee was not doing its work properly and when he sent a RTI application asking details about their work and they could not reply, the collector dismissed the committee and constituted a new committee. He says this way more people should know about RTI and we should use it to solve our small looking local problems. KM bhai can be reached at 08756011826
