RTI : Villagers need help from activists to get information!

KM bhai from Asha Parivar in Kanpur Uttar Pradesh today is telling a story of an RTI applicant. He says when the applicant tried to find out some information about local work he was sent emptry sheets of paper. When he contested he was not given any satisfactory reply. But today when KM bhai called up after saying he is a social reporter from Swara he was given all the information. He says we say transparency is the core of democracy but it is no where to be seen in rural areas. KM bhai can be reached at 08756011826
